5 out of 5 starsThis soap is one of the best soaps that I've tried so far! I usually shop for my soaps at Whole Foods, as I've found that their soaps are the only ones that don't cause break outs for my skin. In my opinion, these soaps last longer, lather more (woo!!!), and smell flat out a-m-a-z-i-n-g! On top of all of that, they have worked wonders for my sensitive skin. I've tried several other soaps from this shop and I have been nothing but 100% satisfied. The vendor is quick to respond to questions and/or to ship out orders. Thanks for your work, Earthling Soap Co! I'm very satisfied <3

Frequently asked questions
What is cold process soap?
Simply put, cold process soap making is the process of mixing oils and lye. This produces a chemical reaction called saponification, which in the end gives us a gentle sudsy bar of soap!
Why vegan?
The main component in soap is fat. Traditionally, soap has been made using some vegetable oils, but also tallow (cow fat) or lard (pig fat). I choose to use only plant-based oils and butters because they are just as nourishing. I also leave out milks and beeswax from my products. In the end, why contribute to the exploitation of our fellow earthlings if we simply don’t have to?
How should I store my soap?
If your bar of soap is unused, you can store it in a cool dry place. Once you’ve started to use it, keep it in a place where it can dry easily between uses – sitting in a puddle of water will decrease its shelf life!
What’s the deal with sustainable palm oil?
If you’ve read my product descriptions you’ll notice that I make it a point to mention that I use sustainable palm oil. This means that it was certified by the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO). There are many reasons that this has become necessary, one of which is that in the past, palm oil cultivation has caused massive deforestation and loss of biodiversity. For more information on sustainable palm oil, visit http://www.rspo.org/about/sustainable-palm-oil.
I’ve noticed sodium lactate as an ingredient in most of your soaps. What is this?
Sodium lactate comes from fermented sugars in corn or beets. It contributes to the hardness of the soap. Despite its similar name, it has nothing to do with lactose found in milk.
